After graduating from the University of Cincinnati in 1995 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing from the Carl H. Lindner College of Business, he quickly began his entrepreneurial journey. His education provided a solid foundation for a successful and varied career in business. In the years that followed, Elliott started and grew several small businesses. These ventures allowed him to apply his business knowledge while learning valuable lessons about management, market dynamics, and customer needs. After building these companies, he sold them for over a decade, always looking for new opportunities and ways to evolve his business approach. His experiences creating, growing, and exiting businesses reinforced his belief in the importance of innovation and problem-solving. In 2009, Elliott’s life took an unexpected turn when he became a victim of identity theft. This experience deeply impacted him, as it highlighted the vulnerabilities in personal data protection. Motivated by this event, he focused on solving this problem for others. His determination to help prevent others from experiencing the same issue led him to establish Guard Well Identity Theft Solutions in 2011, a company dedicated to providing affordable and comprehensive identity theft protection. Guard Well offers a multi-layered approach to identity protection, focusing on making its services available through employee benefits programs. Since founding the company, Elliott has worked tirelessly to expand its reach, offering services to businesses and individuals. As CEO, he has overseen Guard Well’s growth, helping it become a leading provider of identity theft protection services nationwide. His vision has been critical in shaping the company’s mission to deliver high-quality, accessible solutions that help individuals and families protect their personal information. In addition to his work with Guard Well, Elliott is deeply committed to giving back to his community. He established the "Guard Well Gives Back" program, which supports nonprofit organizations by helping them achieve their fundraising goals. He also founded the "COPS Program" (Covering Officer's Personal Security), which provides law enforcement officers discounted memberships to Guard Well’s services, with a portion of the proceeds donated to law enforcement charities. Similarly, he created the "VETS Program," which offers discounted memberships to active and retired military personnel, with donations directed to military-focused charities. Beyond his entrepreneurial and philanthropic work, Elliott is passionate about coaching youth sports, particularly water sports. He believes in the power of sports to teach young people valuable life skills, such as teamwork, perseverance, and discipline. His involvement in coaching is part of his broader commitment to mentoring and supporting the next generation.
